ENOUGH!!!

I've had enough! Enough of the snow and enough of sick kids! Taking a trip to the emergency room at 3:30 in the morning is not my idea of fun. And, of course, by the time we get there, Jax is fine and just happy to be out of bed. The doc said he had Croup and it would go away in 8-10 days. About a week later, he's running a high fever again and making us worry. As of now, so far so good.
Brooke also had her trip to the doctor, but this was for her normal 6 month check-up. She's tiny and has taken a dip in her weight, only weighing in at 14 pounds. It seems like that is normal for my kids when they start eating solids. We're not worried as she should climb back up pretty soon. She has had a cough as well, so we're keeping an eye on her.
What a snowy winter we've had! I don't mind, but Jay is tired of shoveling snow. I'd take this over 20 days of inversion like last year. We woke up Sunday morning to 9-10 inches of snow on top of the 6-7 we already had. We've shoveled it into piles that are now 5 feet high. We went out and played yesterday. Sierra had a blast and couldn't keep it out of her mouth. Jax was out about 30 seconds before he came back in. We built snowmen with our neighbors and had a few snowball fights as well. It looks like it's going to keep coming down and we're ready!
