Hmmm, where do I start? When it comes to Sierra, it means a whirlwind of activity. I've never seen someone with so much energy. We always laugh because Sierra never learned to walk, she only learned to run; and on her tiptoes no less! She has always had a smile for everyone and would freak people out by saying hi to them when she was only 6 months old. She just can't stand to take her time doing anything, it all has to be done in a hurry.
Sierra has the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen. They are such a bright blue, they are just incredible. People are always commenting on her eyes and how bright and shiny they are. She is also one of the smartest kids that I've ever seen. She's done really well in school and remembers everything. She has a memory like no other. We have to watch what we say because she'll remember and remind us about it later. She also remembers things that we've done and stuff she's gotten a long time ago. It blows me away the things she comes up with. She recently got a book on cd that has 4 stories in it and now she has the whole thing memorized word for word. And just try to beat her in a game of memory!
Sierra is one of the most stubborn people I've met in my life. We clash occasionally because I'm probably the second most stubborn. She has been this way ever since she was a baby. When she wants something, she'll do whatever it takes to get it, and don't you dare get in her way. We definitely have to pick our battles with her or we'd be fighting all the time. I tell Jay all the time that I hope she uses her stubborness to stay strong and choose the right things rather than the wrong.
Sierra is a major Daddy's Girl. She loves her dad and when Jay is around, he is required to do everything for her. She has always had him wrapped around her finger, and she knows it. She has always gone to Jay for everything and I don't ever see that changing.
Sierra is fearless. She loves Lagoon and loves going on rides. She'll go sledding by herself and try anything. She loves to play and always swing higher and higher. She's not afraid to speak up or let you know what she thinks. She can be as sweet as an angel and the spawn of the devil in the same minute. We love her tons and wouldn't trade her for anything, even though she knows how to push our buttons; a lot!
More fun things about Sierra:
- Her favorite colors are pink and purple
- She loves anything Disney Princess, Barbie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Dora
- She has a major sweet tooth
- She loves to play dress-up and changes her clothes at least 3 times a day
- She loves to be outside playing all the time
- She's really good at playing board games and card games and can beat you everytime
- She loves to color and work on workbooks
- She loves to watch movies, especially scary ones. She's always picking out Gremlins, or Jurassic Park.
- She loves to help me cook in the kitchen and plays with her little one all the time
- Fun Sierraisms: She has shoes that "bright up"; When she gets mad she says "Son of a Duck!" I have no idea where that came from.
- She loves stuffed animals. In the first few years of her life, she was never without pink teddy or brown teddy. Still, you can see her holding a stuffed animal in almost every picture.
Happy 5th Birthday, Sierra! We love you tons!
