Sierra did it! She graduated from Discovery Day Preschool on May 21. We were invited to her graduation ceremony where they put oon a little program for the parents.
They each talked about what they had learned in preschool. They recited the days of the week, the months of the year, the Pledge of Allegiance, the ABC's, and counted to 100. They also sang a few of their color songs, and danced for us. 
At one point, they each had to come out and pick a parent to dance with them. Being the daddy's girl that she is, Sierra picked Jay to go dance with her. He was so embarrassed, and I was just glad it wasn't me! They had a short intermission where they all got dressed in their cap and gowns, and then came back out to get their diplomas. 
They looked so cute! Miss Lacy did a great job and they have had a blast doing all their school work and going on fieldtrips. Sierra has really enjoyed school and said on the way home that she would miss Miss Lacy. She has learned so much and grown a lot in the two years she has attended and she's really excited for Kindergarten.

are the gowns made out of garbage bags?
they are, Miss Lacey is pretty creative and does a great job.
