FINALLY! After three weeks of waiting, Jax finally started preschool today. For two years he has watched Sierra walk up the stairs and go to preschool and it was his turn today. There were no tears, no hugs, no waves, he just ran in and found his name and started playing. I think my kids are a little too independent. When it comes to things like this, it would be nice to think they might actually miss me! Then again, I'm glad that they are not shy and are able to go do things like this by themselves.

As for the picture, it is always a fiasco with him. First of all, he has this weird thing where he thinks he can't keep his eyes open when he goes outside because it is too sunny, so we always have to put his sunglasses on. So, even though it was completely overcast today and practically raining, he wouldn't keep his eyes open for long enough to look at me without squinting. He also will not hold still and pose for a picture. He is so fidgety, it took about 8 tries to get one where he was holding still, had a smile, and was looking at the camera.
After picking him up, in typical Jaxson form, he wouldn't tell me anything about what he did or what he learned. I hope he pays attention, obeys, and learns something this year! He is so different from Sierra, I hope Miss Lacy didn't have any expectations. I can't believe my kids are getting so big.
