She was big time naughty, too. She usually gets home from school just before 4:00. About that time, I heard a knock on the door. It was our neighbor girl from across the street. She asked if I knew that Sierra was going to Sydney's house. Ummm, no. In case you don't know, Sydney is her cousin. Jay's brother lives a few blocks down from our house and she had decided that she was going over there without telling me. So I put the other two in the truck and headed down the street. When I found her down at the corner, I pulled over, opened the door and told her to get in the truck, Now. She knew I was mad and after explaining to her about kidnapping and me needing to know where she was and her not going anywhere without asking, she started to cry. One of the ladies in our ward was walking down the street, so I rolled down the window to talk to her. She had noticed Sierra wandering around and was going to go get her and then give me a call. Sydney wasn't even home, so I have no idea what Sierra's plans were. She was pretty subdued that night and did her jobs without much nagging.
On a lighter note, it only cost me $31 to fill up the Denali with gas! Yeah! Definitely a nice change after hitting $90 this summer.

Hey Willes family! It made me nostalgic to see Seagull book in the background of your pictures. What a neat Santa and how cute about your kids' different reactions to him.
Merry Christmas! (Can you believe it's already that time of year again that we can say that?!)
